Bear smells the scents of pinecones, mistletoe and holiday cookies in the Big Blue House -- which means it's a special time of year! Bear and his friends learn about the various winter holidays: Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa and Winterberry...but most of all, they learn there is more to the holidays than receiving presents. In fact, the best present ever is seeing someone smile in gratitude after you have just helped him or her.

Over two and a half hours of vintage Muppet commercials from the 1950's - 1960's, including:
Keep US Beautiful was a comedy-variety special with an anti-pollution/litter theme. It aired on NBC on March 27, 1973. Kermit the Frog appears during the opening segment. The special includes a musical number featuring Muppet trash-based creatures singing a parody of the song "Hey, Look Me Over."
The Muppets at Walt Disney World premiered on May 6, 1990 as an episode of The Magical World of Disney. It was part of an awareness campaign to promote the planned merger of The Jim Henson Company with The Walt Disney Company.
In this 46-minute special, the Muppets visit Kermit's hometown of Paradise Swamp, Florida for the annual Frog Festival and Bug Fry. Once there, they discover Walt Disney World on the other side of the swamp. After a run-in with Quentin Fitzwaller, an irate, bumbling security guard played by Charles Grodin, the group splits up to explore the wonders of the theme parks and resort complex.
A second DVD includes over an hour and 15 minutes of Bonus Features:
A live-action stage adaptation of the 1977 Jim Henson special Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas opened at the Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut in 2008. This musical stage production features a mix of live actors and stage puppets from The Jim Henson Company.
The original songwriter, Paul Williams, returned to write four new songs for this stage version. He also finished "Born in a Trunk," an unfinished song for the television special.
